We had the incredible opportunity to attend the Carnival of Culture on our last day in Berlin. Not only was my group able to capture amazing footage of street performing of all kinds, we also learned that Berlin is a very culturally diverse city. From Italian to Cuban to Jamaican, there were so many choices for food, drinks, entertainment and more! Walking around the festival opened my eyes to so many different people and it defied the stereotype I had about German people. I always thought that Germans were the only ones that lived in the country because of what I've seen on television and in movies. Now I know it's the complete opposite. Germany is home to SO MANY of different cultures, Berlin especially. If you're ever looking for NYC in Europe, Berlin is the place to be! Below is a picture of me and my group mate, Kristin, enjoying the bustling and vibrant environment of the carnival!
