All my life my grandma reminded me of my heritage and where the Kuther family came from. I'm a mut of European countries including Wales, Czechoslovakia, Poland, and Germany. My heritage in this country was another reason I was excited to journey back to my "homeland." Berlin was an incredible city, but upon my first glimpse of Munich or Munchen as the locals call it I could not stop smiling. Everywhere we go I'm in awe of my surroundings. From the White Rosé Society to Oktoberfest-esque bier Gardens, and even the Dachua Concentration Camp...this place is unreal. The group's concensus has been the best way to describe the feeling is walking around the German area in Disney's Epcot. Tubas, accordians, and traditional garb, they are all here. For me, this is where I can feel ancestors. I know Kutchers before me were Bavarians and I am so proud of that. Thank you Mom for providing me with this trip to yes, have the time of my life, but also to trace the roots of our branches.
