Our group Fünf Torte is doing our project on energy sources in Germany. We formed contacts and set up interviews preceding our trip.
We landed an interview with Milena Oschmann who represents Hans-Josef Fell. Tim interviewed her, while Michelle took notes. Ali took still photos with her camera while Ashley voice recorded the interview.
Luckily my news production course prepared me to be the videographer and producer that day. Most of my group is comprised of PR majors so I got to show off my camera skills and teach them what they needed to know. After the interview was over she took us underground to get to the Parliament building. What an amazing experience!!! The view from the top was beautiful. German flags were waving in the crisp air, tourists scurried like ants on the grass below, and our group smiled the whole time.
This interview on our first day kicked off an amazing start on our journey as developing journalists. Standing on the top of the building that is extremely monumental to the country of Germany not only made me feel like our group did a good job, but each member contributed to make it happen. This first day of interviewing was great. Dean Bierbauer and his wife were there to experience it too.
Fünf Torte, gets sweeter everyday.
