As Caroline mentioned in her blog-we have arrived! Only not just in any way, but in some serious style. We arrived at the Berlin airport to be received in to a luxurious leather seat tourist bus. Televisions abounded inside and we felt like we truly had arrived. This was all quite great, until we couldn't find our hotel! We unloaded the bus, only to be told we had the wrong hotel. After realizing our mistake, Dean Bierbauer was able to guide us to the glorious Leonardo Hotel.

of South Carolina, School of Journalism and Mass Communications students and two professors are spending two weeks in Munich and Berlin Germany, as part of a May class. The object is to learn about convergence journalism and develop multimedia stories and communication skills that extend beyond the classroom. During this three-week class students will interview, write, photograph and video Germans and discover how different media's role is in this country.
